Description |
This unit gives a theological and psychological basis to help students in developing a caring capacity and enabling them to use counselling skills with those needing help. It introduces students to models of counselling and teaches the necessary listening, responding and other interpersonal skills. It also imparts the ability to recognise when it is necessary to refer a person to someone else. |
