Description The Bachelor of Theology course is designed to prepare people for further studies or for postgraduate practical training for vocations in Christian ministry. The course includes input from various external denominational groups, individual Christian ministers and theological educators. No one particular denominational perspective is presented. The structure of the course includes a traditional range of foundational biblical and theological modules as well as the opportunity for an expansion, deepening and broadening of knowledge and understanding of theology and biblical exegesis in the later stages.

Methods of instruction Tabor College espouses a holistic method of education and provides an environment where academic learning, spiritual development and service occur together. Formal educational methods include: lectures and interactive sessions, reading, research, preparation of papers and oral presentations, video viewing, practical experiences, field education, group work, reflection, and study for examinations and tests. The educational methods used depend on the nature and level of courses. Informal learning takes place through dialogue and discussion, worship and prayer, and interaction during various opportunities to serve one another and the community.
