Description The SMBC Undergraduate Certificate of Ministry is a great introduction to theological studies. At AQF level 5, it’s ideal for those without an undergraduate degree. With just four units of study required, it also suits those with limited time to study. It can be studied full-time or part-time. The Certificate will give you a foundational understanding in Old Testament and New Testament, with electives from the areas of ministry or missions. It also opens up pathways to further study, for example, the Diploma of Theology, Associate Degree of Ministry, Bachelor of Ministry and Bachelor of Theology. It is the equivalent of the first half (full-time) of the Diploma. The Certificate will give you a basic competency to serve in a local church or para-church ministry.
